Why Crossmots?
The name Crossmots combines the words ‘cross’ with ‘mots’ - the French word for words - a fitting name for puzzles that bring two languages together.
Meet Keith, Founder of Crossmots & Chief Crossmotter
Lifelong crossword enthusiast Keith founded Crossmots with a simple idea: to combine the enjoyment of solving puzzles with the rewards of language learning.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Education from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, Keith began his career with the Royal Air Force before later returning to the field of education. Throughout his career, he continued developing his passion for crossword puzzles, creating a unique collection of bilingual puzzles that combine language learning with the satisfaction of solving crosswords.
Today, Crossmots publishes a growing range of bilingual crossword books developed in collaboration with professional translators, helping language learners build vocabulary and confidence while enjoying the challenge of a well-crafted puzzle.
